NCAA Eligibility Center Steps for International Track Athletes

1. Create an account with the NCAA Eligibility Center (a Certification Account for D1/D2, or a free Profile Page if you're only considering D3). Register (NCAA)
2. Check your country's requirements. D1 and D2 academic rules depend on your country's education system. International initial-eligibility requirements (NCAA) · 2026-27 Guide to International Academic Standards (PDF)
3. Send official transcripts and proof of graduation in their original language, with certified English translations, as the Eligibility Center instructs.
4. Amateurism certification. Answer the amateurism questions honestly: prize money, club contracts and agents can affect eligibility. Ask the school's compliance office before you sign anything.
5. NAIA uses its own eligibility center: PlayNAIA. NJCAA eligibility rules: njcaa.org.

Summary only. Rules change every year, so the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA pages are the authority.
